the text chat is terrible. its not noticeable enough.  it either needs to in a different location of brighter color or somthing and what is this nonsence with the chat shrinking to a un readable size when someone ells types

You can open the console (f5) to see what has been said recently. It's all we have for now.

Which has nothing to do with being noticeable....

I agree to a point. You have no idea if and when anyone says anything until you either die or the map changes. Not sure I want to see most of what is typed though

chat text is also parsed in the game with big yellow and white fonts depending on team or all chat and it looks a lot nicer fonts than most chat texts of most games we play

I miss easily 90% of aything that's typed in-game.  The lobby chat box majigger is nice but in-game chat needs to be displayed somewhere else, with more persistence, e.g., a chat display on the right that shows the last 6 messages.

The ingame chat vanishes way too quickly to be noticed. Could use a longer list or something.
