This is a bug for pretty much all games right now as both Retina displays and Windows 8 are both pretty new.

Basically the game restricts the mouse to a smaller resolution while the game displays at full Retina resolution. Prevents hitting more of the UI buttons to change the setting to a lower resolution.

Devs won't be able to fix this effectively without having access to a new Macbook with Retina and Bootcamping to Windows 8.

Windows 8 is basically unsupported, at this point, I'm pretty sure, so this is essentially par for the course.

Can't blame them. It's a weird weird weird OS. Throw the Retina display on top of it and basically you are talking worse case scenario for Devs.
