By purchase of in game items it is not clear they are bound to one mech.  While I have no problem with that, it creates a nice Hawken points sink, it would be nice to let new users know, so that they don't have momentary frustration associated and disappointment with their first purchase.

Perhaps something in the color text for the parts, or the line "Equip-able items for #active_mech_name#" as a label for the purchase/equip window.

I know it is really minor, but you are planning to "live" from item sales, make sure they are happy with the purchase.
