Dodge Cooldown Class A mech

So i've recently notice that the dodge cooldown of the class A mech was changed. Before i could side boost no problem to get away from a sniper or a group of enemy teammates. The dodge cooldown feels like i'm at lvl 1. Playing the A class mech is fast, in your face, and deadly when used right. A deadly sniper can now easly pick me off no problem. I lvl'ed up to 20, so i could move fast and dodge, but now i dont feel its gain of being a lvl 20 berserker. Has anyone else felt think change in a class A mech_

Its not a big change, its a little small change they did to the Dodge cooldown. I dont know how else to explain it lol it just messes up my timing when dodging.

Yeah most of the zerk and inf pilots I know havn't had any problems with that I don't think. I only play inf atm, and I can dodge pretty fast.

Infiltrator dodge should be the same as Berserker dodge - 1.25 second delay.

Looks to me that they've certainly nerfed Class A dodges (or increased cooldowns). Being myself an A pilot.. hmm.. that hurts a little.. I feel slightly uncomfortable because of that now.

Me and CaliberMengsk both felt the dodge (increased cooldowns). It's not to much to notice if you havent been playing a Class A mech. I've been playing a Class A mech since Alpha up to CB2 they only nerfed it yesterday cuz it felt fine on Nov 10. I agree with you silencer i do feel a bit uncomfortable now. I'll just have adjust my playing style a little bit.

lol It wasn't just that one game, i was in multiple games that i felt this in. I'm not sure if it's only infil or bersker but if silencer felt it then i'm going to say its all Class A mechs.

I think they either increased the collision hitbox when dashing or just changed the collision mechanism all together. That's for colliding with walls, not with enemy fire. But it means it's much easier and more frustrating to dash into a wall. :/
They might have changed the dash cooldown too, but after a while you'll get use to the new one and be dodging like old times. :P

After playing many games today... The_Silencer says: Bring the Assault's movement back!

P.S. Have you seen how those ranked Infiltrators can move now (on)_! - (Edit: to mention some..) - Add seeking factor to heavier weapons if you want.. but don't touch my Assault, please.

I've noticed and adjusted to the increase CD but also taken into account that the reduced dodge cool down cancels the nerf out. I tend to get stuck on corners more than have problems dodging. Cuz we all know how sticky corners are in this game.

I play inf mostly and there is definitely _something_ different about the dodge this time around.  It isn't a huge difference but I find myself noticing it a lot in tight skirmishes.  As mentioned, the sticky corners/random boxes on the ground/pipes are also a big pain-in-the-ass.

I'm not 100% sure that it is entirely a dodge issue.  I think there is a bit more cool down now but I think the main issue I am noticing is what FluxX mentioned above.  I feel like I keep ending up in situations where I used to be able to keep boosting and now I just get stuck in one place and get pwned.

You know what i was having the same issues before. Were you in battles dodging and all of a sudden your mech would just stop even tho you told it to dodge_

Yeah that has been happening to me quite a bit this time around.  I don't think I had the problem before.  That's why I think something was nerfed.

Probably changed just so the A's could get picked off by snipers more easily. Class A still has crazy good movement. Went from movement optimizations to defensive optimizations on my berserker for this beta, like to poke and then repair really fast and keep moving in and out of battle without being as frail.
