While playing deathmatch round, my sound dropped out. It would come back during the end game screen and while loading, then it would go away again. Checked all settings, had no effect. No sound at all, no fx, voice or game.

I also heard a series of clicks at the beginning of each round, as if it were trying to come on.

I've had this happen a few times, completely randomly and not sure what the cause is. But on the insanity servers the sound is absolutely horrendous! keeps coming on and off and some sounds you don't hear at all as if the game needs more sound channels added

i have the same problem, after a few maps the ingame sound disappears but the menusound (klicks) is fine
only complete shutdown of game and launcher solves this after a restart but only for a few matches
(Win XP SP 3, E8400 @ 3Ghz , 4gb Ram, Geforce GTX460 , Creative SB X-Fi)
