I've noticed a progress bar filling on my SA Hawkins gun on a Sharpshooter class..this does not happen on any other guns progress bars (different Mech classes included) altho I use other guns as well..
+ what is the purpose of this bar_ what does it unlock after filling up_

I believe it is an enhancement to weapon effectiveness, which I strongly disagree with, but from what I've been told, isn't in effect in closed beta.

With no small amount of luck and a strong tail wind it will eventually unlock something a bit more interesting than stat buffs:

Edit:  Also earlier on within the same thread a dev commented that the weapon buffs are included but the tooltip isn't functioning.

Thanks for the link 'defekt'...awsome post..especially that Weapon/Ability Levels part..
Still..they should fix those progress bars indicators till 3x12..
