Ok people, with these big heavy strong mechs, there has to be an extra powerful one who can really wreck havoc on ones team! how about a destroyer class! It could have 2 categories; Ballistics Destroyer: were they launch missile attacks on the enemy mechs by having other team mates go out and lock on for this super heavy and slow mech BUT the lock is a bit tricky and the missiles could be avoided by taking cover under some buildings. For weapons, they could use the EMC repeater, missiles and maybe the vulcan. 2nd category could be Assault or Berserker Destroyer were it's a bit faster than the Ballistics Destroyer, but it's still slow and heres were the laser weapons could come in, it could have a charged laser cannon that could do major damage but over heats after one full shot and takes just a little to charge. Besides the laser it could have the Vulcan and missiles maybe_ Not sure still thinking stuff up.What do you guys think_

you really want a mech even heavier than the C class_ lol

That would probably turn out like assault mechs in the older Mechwarrior games... (overpowered over everyone else)

I'm in the zone with a brawler, and honestly, making it any slower and heavier would be kind of pointless. However, it has been discussed that the fortified mode of the heavy class is seriously underpowered and needs tweaking.. I think once that happens, things should be cool for the C class.

New mechs_ Certainly, I'd love them. But I don't think we need bigger ones. lol. That'll really make the little guys squirm.

I'm gonna be honest about what I thought. I thought it was stupid and made no sense. You just described a mech that sounds broken to bits. Truly, truly stupid. Didn't plan on telling you that but you did ask, sorry.

I kinda see were your coming from, but hear me out. It could be a... class D mobile armor of some sort. Of course, it has plenty of restrictions on what it can do so it's not totally ridiculous, but it is very much possible it could work with, and heres what Deu didn't even let me get to before announcing my idea being totally and utterly stupid, large and extra large maps! Or even a new game mode were these large class D mechs can be usable... obviously, they wouldn't be usable on regular maps as, they would be too big and bulky.

Well now, i see you didn't bother to even once think outside of the box on this, considering this game is still in development. What if... just maybe the devs decided to add large scale battles with a higher player cap (say 16 v 16) than normal maps and these maps would be large to extra large witch if you think about, a larger than class C mech could work in. To add to that, do you honestly think that id just say, "ohh lets just add this freggin huge mech thats extra powerful and you can use on any map!" no! that would indeed be stupid! I never thought that way, witch brings me to my next part of that idea. Should this game get much larger scale maps, lets say some large and extra large maps, this type of mech would not be so bad in idea to combat having more players and being on these said large scale maps  Due to this being a mobile armor of some sorts, it would only be limited to these large maps... hell, wile i'm at it, there could even be a new game more were the objective is so protect these large mechs and escort them from point A to point B. Team A could be the escort and team B could be the attackers. Is my idea so stupid now_ Heres a pro tip bro, don't jump in a topic and call anyones idea stupid before hearing EVERYTHING they have to say, as i did make it clear that i was still thinking about how this would work when i clearly said "Not sure, still thinking stuff up"

I still don't know how I'd feel about that..

it seems like it would turn out like Sandtrap in Halo 3 with the Elephants.... slow and pointless.

Personally, I'd like to see more come of the battleship we already see in Siege mode.. only perhaps in a team-deathmatch-based game mode.

But honestly, every game really only needs one or two unique game modes, and the devs already pretty much have some nice ones figured out. I could play Siege all day if team balancing is worked out.

16 v 16 is just too spammy. As it stands, 6v6 for the AA in Siege/S2 in MA gets a bit spammy with all the items and secondary fire flying everywhere

Also, the idea of having a mech that sits around while other people target spot for it so it can autoaim missiles at the enemy seems a bit pants to me
Maybe MWO is more your style_
