It is before the beta begins today but I can only hope that the 180 turn around is now rebindable. I dont care about reverse boost that is up to the comunity and game developers but the ability to simply move backward even at normal walking speed while boosting in close combat would be much appreciated so i can properly keep my enemys at range with out dying. Tis better to get the kill instead of turn around and die as it is impossable to avoid enabling the 180 degree command in close to mid range combat. That being said I am excited for CB3 and cannot wait till 12pm, I'll see you all on the battle feild!

I hope you get your keybind. but i find no issue here, a bit of practice and skill and you won't be spinning midfight.

Practice lol Ive been playing shooters for 20yrs. I rarely move in one direction at a time while keeping my enemy's at range and avoiding objects, I find it is difficult to menuver properly while moving in reverse because it would mean that I would have to stop moving so I can change my velocity lol. Obviously stoping motion in the heat of battle is very bad. And having to completely dissable boost to stop the issue leaves pilots at a complete dissadvantage. But thanks I hope I do to.

hmm i have no issues with going in any direction.
are you sure you let go of the shift key before you try to move backwards_
