I have enjoyed every minute of it.  I've been in for an alpha test, a Beta and a 2nd Beta.

This will be my third beta and I am not less enthusiastic.

best way i can sum it up is that i have not had this much fun with a game since halo like the origional halo. it truely is one of a kind

No it's not fun, everyone just got hooked on the exp/hp treadmill.

This is the best thing since anything. If you like FPS and mechs, this is for you.

It's definitely fun if you're good at it! At first I was kinda bad, but once you learn to dodge, find a mech that suits your playstyle, and log a few hours, you should be kicking metal ass in no time! I'd suggest watching videos and reading posts about how to play before the servers get up, that way you're somewhat familiar with the game :]
