Hi everybody,

I try to download the client but after the launcher starts nothing happens. Yellow progressbar and "loaded patcher. working...", there is no difference if I enter a account/correct password or not.


I opened the ports 7777-7797 on my router and use the latest installer.
Win7 64bit


Any suggestions_

Now it works, I didn't change anything.

Error -138 when loading url http://www.playhawken.com/launcher/

win8 64bit- Loaded Patcher. Working.

Nothing happens, "Launch" button not pressable.

Pls help, could not join any betaevents, have to play this

I got this bug too, on Windows 8 64bit.

I'd like to confirm it as a serious bug, as it may prevent people from playing at all.

The workaround:
Run the game / installer as an administrator.

already tried this, if i run into probs, thats the first thing i do... this and starting in compatible mod;

did not help

Same issue.  Going to try allowing the program admin access.

EDIT: No go.  Still the same issue.  Error 138 and all.

Check to make sure either one of them is NOT blocking the game.. especially the firewall.

OH PLS COME ON, want to play this, but dont know how! Downloaded the game like 10gazillion times, started in admin mod, in compatibility mod, anything!

In short: try changing your password to exclude special characters. (like ! " # ¤ % & etc)
