I find it a bit counter productive that the time between matches is more than the time it would take to leave and use matchmaking to find a new game.

I see it at the end of every match.  Over half the people on the server leave and to use matchmaking, and I can't blame them. It's the most efficient way farm currency and I really doubt most people want/need almost a full minute between matches.
