i think that the old alpha and beta skins deserve a rework or an added skin because the alpha and beta skins are really lame.  i think the hawken community deserves better. i want a skin that i would at least want to put on a mech.

While a lot of people would agree with you (including me) I would suggest adding new camos instead of changing the already existing ones. Some actually like them.

I agree they weren't the best designs, and I specifically didn't use them because of that, but they are unique, and we did get them for free. :)

I must agree with the others, might be better to just make more camos instead of trying to fix the alpha/beta ones. Plus it might upset those who really like them as they are already.

I was thinking since the Vanguard Initiative pre-order skins exist, the Alpha and Beta skins would follow a similar style.

 

Here's the skins I'm talking about:

 

My logic is that since "Silver" and "Gold" are more or less blue and yellow, the Alpha/Beta skins could be red (completing the assortment of primary colours) and green (which is often included with the actual primary colours).

 

The current Alpha skin is a blend of blue and yellow, which gives it a green hue, and the Beta skin is orange/red in appearance.

 

Here are some poorly photoshopped versions of the Vanguard skins I think could work as Alpha/Beta:

 

I personally feel the game is lacking in vibrant colours, so I'd be pretty happy with these if they were implemented.
