i have an aircooled amd8350 that runs nicely warm, 57degC, in Prime95 all day long, @4.3GHz.

i've noticed that if i goose it to ANYTHING over 4.1, Hawken loads the login page then immediately crashes.

i have a running history of bug tickets for mid to late 2013 with the Old Devs concerning all manner of wild amd related probs.

BIOS: all settings to auto or default, except

Bus Clock @200

Multiplier @ 20.0

Boost @ 21.0

vCore @ 1.3250v

if i lock the BCC @ 205, the multiplier at 21.0, and turn off the Boost, everything works except Hawken.

i can live with 4.0GHz, but technology is advancing and this may become a serious issue in the very near future.

just a FYI

An old thread, indeed...

Have you tried with lower OC parameters?

What are your standard specs?

necroing is cool upon a time...

.

The difference between theory and practice is smaller in theory than it is in practice.
