IDK, maybe this is trivial, but for the next update I'd like some new cinematics for game startup. Be nice to have the Reloaded logo on there and not... those other guys. I know they can be turned off in the .ini but the shootout in Prosk is badass and still cool to watch.

Perhaps they should also rename MC to RC? I know that's the acronym for "radio controlled", but... I dunno.

Doubt it's particularly high on their priority list, most important thing would be to get their heads around the codes and start tweaking.

 

I do believe we could do with a far better opening cinematic though, the current one certainly isn't what I'd call awe-inspiring.

Agreed. The first time I saw the current opening, I thought it looked cool, but didn't fit the game at all. It came at a time when the whole "take a thing apart and show all it's junk and put it back together because it looks cool" fad was all the rage with cinematics. I'd really, really love to see something that fits the lore of the game more, something to really put us into the war.

Ye something like bands of mechs just boosting across the desert into each other! Like in a steam trailer.

 

If there were anything inside mechs that is related somehow to game mechanics current cinematic might be ok but as is it's just not fitting.

after a bit of thought, the effort to alter this here, on the revenue/income page, the links with Steam on it's end, and who knows what other tweaks would be necessary just to change 2 letters, may be way down josh's list right now. there also may be contract/legal issues as to what can be changed on the Legal movie as well as the (likely) lack of funds and/or manpower to make it happen.

And MC is an acronym for Master of Ceremonies/Emcee. Don't think about that too much.

With all the talent we have rolling loose around here... maybe a contest would/could be possible... with appropriate prizes, winner determined by panel or committee. Lil' something for thought :)

I believe the devs said they would change some of the intro scenes, credits and possibly the MC name in a future update.

Honestly the "Reloaded Update" would be an awesome name.
