I know this was the case few months ago. But I want to know again like how many hours you have to play this game to get free MC?
500 MC after how many hours?

There was a way to get free MC? I've logged hundreds of hours in this game and never gotten any free MC. Would definitely be nice though. I think it was a recent feature and if you already made an account you're out of luck.

it was the thanks for playing achievement that gave it (1 hour of match time i think) it was recently removed and is still listed in the wiki so i was confused when i didnt get it

It was recently removed due to the new devs testing things.
The achievement name was "Thanks for playing!" and it gave you 500 free MC. When I got the achievement, back in June 2013, it was just 400 MC. I do really hope they re-implement it though - it was a nice feature and gave you an incentive to play the game more.
