I'm a new Hawken player.

 

I would like an indicator somewhere in-game showing which daily win HC bonuses are available and a countdown timer for those that aren't yet. I preferably would like to see this on the main menu as a separate area/icon/announcement since this would help show new players that there are daily bonuses in Hawken. However, if for whatever reason this can't be done just put it in somewhere like the career menu.

 

When I started the game I had no idea how Hawken's currency progression was going to be like, and once I saw that the base gain was quite low I felt discouraged. This was until I did some research into ways of gaining HC, and discovered there were daily HC bonuses for winning each game mode. This information should be available at the beginning - I shouldn't have had to do research.

 

Apart from showing new players there are daily bonuses, this addition would just be super convenient and a good quality of life improvement for existing players.

 

I need this in the game!

I edited the original post to also request a countdown timer for daily wins which aren't yet available. I think this is very important if making this feature.

I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this. If you like the idea please comment and like it, because the more views and posts the thread has the more likely the devs will take notice and potentially add this :)

It's a pretty minor quality of life improvement that I'm rather indifferent about, I'm not quite senile enough to forget if I've gotten my daily or not. That said, I have absolutely nothing against people wanting it, there's literally no downside to having something like this.

Fair enough. I think it would be more beneficial to newer players than existing ones, so I can understand if you've been playing for awhile.

I hope it wouldn't be annoying enough to be worthy of a "hide" option although I don't see a problem with it.

 

As I continue to play the game, the more I want a daily win timer available...

 

See, I drink often. Then I play games. Then I forget which games I played because I've been drinking. It's a vicious cycle - one that could only be solved by adding a timer/indicator to my next win of the day.

 

Or to stop drinking while I play. But where is the fun in that?

:( Does honestly no one care about this? Is it more just beneficial for newers players like me who need to unlock stuff... ?

The daily Match bonus resets at GMT midnight (8 PM est, 5 PM PST) and there aren't that many to keep count of, 7... maybe 8 at tops. TDM, Siege, Missile Defense, Deathmatch, TDM Bots... and maybe Bot destruction. Though I just read (I think) that new players now get a bonus with some of the new (new as in newbie) "Achievements" https://community.pl...ate-2015-07-02/

Also... whenever "Teams are unbalanced" always... always volunteer to swap if you need HC... it's an extra 100 HC/match... and win ratio really doesn't effect you anyways, it's all about K/D ratio =p

And by the way, nice idea. Too bad devs aren't very strongly present in suggestion forums at the moment.

I think they read the forum.

In principle, the request is not new.

Maybe the developers feel that they can not comply with the request without the programmer.

Able to offer a solution to this question: The game has a list of achievements the game, which is totally dependent on the server. Maybe developers can simply add (display) in the list of game achievements, in a separate tab, weekly bonuses and the fact of their achievements....

I think they read the forum.

I didn't mean they don't read it, I meant they don't anwser. I don't count lurking as being present. IMHO they don't want to take take a strong stand to any suggestions right now as I believe they aren't sure themselves where this game is headed.
