ok, I'm getting the above error every time I try to log in to the game, are the servers down?

Well PC is connected to the internet, tried running it with the firewall off and made sure the Hawken is on the list of trusted programs, checked proxy settings (made sure that the PC trying to go through a proxy server was off) and I don't know what else I can try, does anyone else know what could be causing it and how I can fix it?
