as a bit of background, I was playing with a nvidia card before but recently switched to a AMD card

 

so, I currently have a problem where when I launch hawken, the screen is black and there is no sound. BUT if I tab out to a different window I can hear the nvidia and paint splatter sounds. I have tried deleting my settings, I even re installed the entire game and it has had no effect. any ideas?
