I got several question here

 

 

Question 1

When I read this forum I often see weapon range: long, medium, short, close range or point blank

Example when you say medium range. how far is medium in the game? how can I measure it?

What is the different between accuracy and effective range?

 

Question 3

When using FLAK i notice damage reduce at longer distance, is there any place I can check/testing how many damage I dealt at given range

1: To give you a little bit of an idea, the submachinecannon is generally medium range, miniflak is short range, vulcan is short-medium, assualt rifle is medum-long, and SA hawkens is long.

 

2: Effective range means the weapon can not fire farther than that specified value which is the effective range, while accuracy means how much spread the bullets have.

 

3: There is nowhere you can see the exact damage values for different ranges, in fact, the weapon stats in-game aren't even accurate.

Look at the distances of each class' side dodge to get a feel for what the distance numbers mean.

Yup, Salty Stats is the best resource for raw numbers. If I remember correctly not everything is 100% correct on it but most of it is, and it's the best source anyways.

1. I think it's decide by effective range value, bigger value means it's had longer range , so from those value, we can classified will it categorized as short, medium , or long range weapon.

3. Flak have spreading bullet, that's why if the distance is longer, only few bullets hit the target.
