Hi,

 

Since a few weeks i m experiencing extra latency to EU servers every day at prime time (7PM-11PM GMT) it comes from 20 to 80+

 

Here is a graphic traceroute :

 

 

 

The router named "be4204.ccr21.par04.atlas.cogentco.com" (149.11.115.13) seems to be the issue.

 

How and who can fix that ?

 

My ISP is Free SAS (part of Illiad who is owner of Proxad) and i'm localised near Paris - France.

Where did you get the server IPs? I'm getting massive packet loss-like issues on Frankfurt servers especially but I haven't been able to find any issues with public game servers IPs for other games hosted in Frankfurt. Amsterdam also jumps my ping from ~48 to 80 or above during the evening or when more people are on a server.

 

I'd really like to compare those with traceroutes to the actual Hawken servers to see if it's the routing to Frankfurt or the servers themselves.

 

edit: Btw the server you mentioned seems to be Free's transit server.

Now that's weird, I've tried using Wireshark and Netstat to get IPs on Bot TDM and Deathmatch in Frankfurt servers but I only see IPs located in Ashburn showing up. Anybody can help with the filters to put in place?

the only thing i know is that is an IP of a gamersfirst frankfurt server, maybe the master one.

I got a little better ping in game to Amsterdam servers (~10 ms better)

I should analys through TCPview but i'm 100% sure the issue will remain at the same point : this Cogent router dedicated to Illiad as you mentioned it.

If this is the server Hawken uses in Frankfurt than it explains why I find it unplayable, the packet loss is fuzzy bunnyng insane.

Yes i also notice that there are a lot off jittering / packets losing from Telia.
