What we currently see in the console version will this become the PC version?

 

I hope Reloaded Games decide to release more combinations of mech weapons(what is the point of having two scouts with HEAT. Flak should be another option.). I've been playing Hawken on an off since closed beta on the PC going back to 2012. Currently floating 2200-2250 mmr on PC.

 

I played four matches and had two disconnects. I've dominated the leader boards even with this awkward control scheme. I thought voice chat was suppose to work in the game. I've talked in match and have heard no one. Based on the twitch streams people enjoy Hawken, but this console version is a shallow version compared to the PC. How is it possible that the console version has no custom controls?

 

Dear Mech Gods please don't let the PC crumble into this. I hope Reloaded(or 505 Games) works harder since this console version lacks polish(UI and frame rate) an frankly new content(I'm guessing more content has been cut from the PC in terms of mech weapon combinations than any new set ups).

I heard that, but things could always change(probably wishful thinking at this point). Assuming Hawken "exists" after the PC patch at least I will have the legacy mechs.

Not likely, they haven't been too fourth coming in wanting feedback from the community.

 

There is no evidence they have done anything that the community has suggested. But that could change with more people playing the new Hawken

I'm just going by the QA that was posted. I'm just baffled that this is the result of a year of work. I did chuckle at seeing the Hawken live action unfinished movie again during the intro.

 

So far I only really play Xbox for Halo and some indie games. I doubt I will choose Hawken over Halo.

Yeah. Some of the indie games are great. Most of if not all the indie games(Limbo, Shank 1 and 2, Hard Corps Uprising(boss contra game), Cuphead(coming soon), Inside) have made it to PC though.

Why would you continue to play a game if nobody from the company side cares to listen? Why? Say good bye to Hawken and find an alternate and much better route. I hear Mechwarrior Online is coming.. That game has always pleased and actually cares about its community. The game is a result of them listening to their fans. Lol no brainer. Screw these guys if they're not going to listen.. Why give them a fighting chance against competition that actually cares.

Everyone is so mad about everything. This game just dropped on console, obviously it's not going to be perfect. They took out the items? Okay, maybe they'll add them back. Even if they don't it's for the role balancing. I agree with it...if you're playing a sniper role you should snipe, if players choose a sniper character with a grenade launcher (or whatever, you get the idea) that kind of defeats the purpose of using that sniper character. /rant
