Getting an error FBCE990B saying i'm not allowed to join any games on Xbox One.

Do you have Xbox Live Gold? I had the same error until I activated it.

Xbox live is required to play all multi-players games free or not, that is the error code for no XBL

So I have to have a Xbox gold member ship to play online but it suppose to be a free online game to play I don't get it.then what's the point of saying its a free to play online game very disappointed

That is the rub, xbox requires you to subscribe to thier service in order to enjoy any online multiplayer game.

Think about those poor schmucks that buy a game only to learn that they have to subscribe to a service in order to play the thing that they own.
