when trying to buy a new mech the system only allows you to select mech credits to buy it as in trying to force players to micro transaction their way to better mechs which will kill this game please fix

Could you screenshot this so I could see what you mean? When buying a mech you should be able to buy it with 'Hawken Credits' (Blue currency) and 'Mech Credits' (Orange currency).

Or is it because you don't have enough credits? If you don't have enough Hawken credits then it'll show up as an option to buy a mech what Mech Credits.

Correct if not fully explained,  There is a mech tree where mechs are locked unless you own the one next to them. Others are locked because they are the Generation 2 or G2 version of the mech you might have unlocked. This is designed so that you have to progress in the lower mechs before you have access to the higher ones. You can spend real money to unlock them early or properly progress through the mech tree.
