If you don't know the whole story, you are likely pretty new to, or as yet estranged from, our culture.
We were gathered around to field many inquiries and behold the incoherent babblings of a man possessed. On the eve of the great silence. Summer '14.
In the beating heart of hawken #hawkenscrim.
We had a great deal of knowledge among us. Active developers who helped to create the game, community managers taking a break from moderating our forums looking on in amusement, playtesters, community leaders, community trollers, players, and irrelevant hangers-on.
Everyone was there.
It eventually escalated into a group viewing and a professional analysis of alleged hacks non-existent in Hawken and largely non-existent in online game cheating in general.
We had such a fun time, and are still laughing about it to this day.
We grew as people and bonded as a community on the cusp of a trying time.

Hellc9943 went missing a couple weeks ago. Some of us feared the worst. His very clever contribution to the saga of walking west (he's even german) betrayed his classy and sophisticated wit.
It was a signal to that he was very much still with us.
And that in our interactions with community outsiders, we are capable of producing the finest of ridiculous situations.
But then, the joke is a lot funnier when you don't have to explain it.
