First of all its a LONG time since Ive had a real KICK from a game !

At work I think of how Im gonna upgrade my Mech, well it hasnt happened since 25 years ago :) when I was young.

The Mech is stuck with the same guns and the same armour is kinda lamo.

And I also saved up alot of points and even bought some creds, to get cool legs, arms and new thrusters. All fitting to my super cool Assult Mech.  And I expected some differance in walking velocity. Maybe aiming accuracy and better velocity in the thrusters. But nothing!

It looks cool but ... yea. so does a chick with a ponytail.

1. Upgrade weapons, if not replace the gun atleast an upgrade.

2. Upgrade armour, change the metal alloys to incrase resistance.

3. Cosmetics should also adds functionality, like walking velocity and aiming accuracy.

4. Assult drones, that aid the attack.

5. More maps. suggestion. Ghetto . Harbour . Battle on a cargo boat . Battle on a moving train .The usual maps with different seasons and weather. winter and summer, day and night. Also objectives like "protect civilians". Protect trainstation (on Mars) from attack. and the other team has Attack martian trainstation. Trains coming and going and it makes unpredictable  hideouts. also on the harbour. Cranes lifiting cargo crates also makes unpredictable hideouts. Escort corperate personell from here to there, other team has the oppostite. But listen to this : Escort space rocket from earth to the moon from the other team. A jet pack mission in vertical motion !

6. Radar at the bottom mapping all the mates and enemies.

7. Shoulder rocket battery. A stack of rockets mounted on the shoulder.

8. Fuel pack. enabling a double thruster longivety in the air.

9. Buying a better repair droid should decrease the repair time of the Mech.

10.Oil leaks and fuel leaks. software failure and mechanical injuries. F.x, just the secondary weapon works, for a while.

11. MegaMechs. double or triple in size that may have 2 or 3 drivers in a team operating separate guns and walking motion.

I don't think this is a good idea unless they make it so you can buy these parts with HC (The in-game currency). This will make it to pay 2 win then.

All the other suggestions sound pretty cool. I like the Assault Drones and the Shoulder rocket battery ides. The Assault drones remind of "Funnels" in Gundam and I do think we need some extra weapons like that too but I don't know how they will map it to the controller lol.

Its not a pay to win. but maybe unlock gun ugrades with Experience points or battle experience, rank.

Just because you have the most expensive equipment doesnt make a person a winner.

I see people with the basic CRT - mechs that play really good. gets over 200 points !

the Assult drone is not on the controller, it works on its own, I guess :)

Ya, using the in-game currency for this works.

I'm just saying the cosmetics should be purchasable with in-game currency for this to be not pay to win because you do need to spend money to get the cosmetic. They change this to in-game currency and add some really cool cosmetics that will give the same stats, then I think they may have something then.

But we have to wait and see

do you mean that the weapon and armour upgrades should be ingame currency , but the cosmetics should be real world currency ?

I could agree with that.

I see someone doesnt like the idea of upgrades however I disagree. Because even if you have a fast car dosnt make you a good driver. However its a priority issue. some people are fast and head on, and some are slow and defensive . to accomodate different styles of battle, I think the upgrades and cosmetics should change stats along with the looks . If only the cosmetic design is changed its like driving a Lexus with a grassclipper motor !

when I read the Hawken policy on the wiki, I see thats its a deliberately "Not pay to win" approach. And the players experience that should make the success. well it sounds reasonable. Im just rusty thats all !

There are alot of things in life I want, but I dont get :)

i want add my own two cents on what they should add.

[when you buy a cosmetic it should be unlocked for all mechs]

if i buy a different targeting reticule on my assault i'd like to bring it to my brawler as well.

Umm you can. Just change it on one then hit make all mechs the same. Or just individually input each one to each mech.

I only wanted one for each weapon so I know when they are back up. So I just use the all option. But I know you can individually change each. You only need to buy one just like the camp for each part.

1. I like customization but upgrades should be limited. New players shouldn't be at a "complete" disadvantage.

2. I think armor should remain constant. The developers have allocated armor points to balance out the damage/mobility of each mech, i'm sure.

3. One of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard.

4. There's already turrets. If you like "free kills" play CoD.

5. YES PLEASE. A map with more verticality would be awesome. also, more maps in general would be cool. even making every game mode available on all maps would be better. (maybe PC is already like this but I'm playing on PS4)

6. There's already a radar.

7. Nah. Potential for too much imbalance.

8. The scout's ability is already an extra fuel tank. If any mech could get this that would be lame.

9. new players would be at an even greater disadvantage. keep BALANCE in mind.

10. That would be awesome to see performance reflected with the damage you take. Hawken definitely needs a "Hardcore" or more realistic mode.

11. Power Rangers comes to mind... lol. Maybe larger bosses for the survival co-op mode but I don't know how that would work with multiplayer. Cool idea, though.
