This propably has been reported before but im not sure if new devs know about this, so here goes;

 

Atleast for me zoom causes game to crash very commonly. This hasnt happened with any other mechs so i assume thats the cause. For example, if you play with sharpshooter, score last kill and then press zoom / scope button during end screen, game will crash. Game will also randomly crash when trying to zoom in, but not nearly as often. End screen crash happens pretty much every time but crash during the match randomly from few minutes to tens of hours.

 

Is this common problem or something that happens only to some players?

Never played sharpshooter so don't know about it but i have a similar problem with predator, my game often crashes when using it's ability (it's super weird), it exits the game with a message saying: 'Ran out of video memory, exiting...' This only seems to happen maybe once every 2 hours and i think only when activating the pred's ability.

There, same problem with both main pc and laptop. Specs should be fine and both can run Hawken fps wise without any problems.

hmm , reEvolve will help u , but have you tried to Update your  intel chipset info. and Nvidia driver ?After install/update all soft make a back up of your Hawken settings or rename it Hawken Back up ,  C:\Users\user's name\Documents\My Games\Hawken  --->Hawken Back up .

Everything is up to date, ofc. Also, I have tried reinstalling game many times already and it doesnt have any effect.

I cant be sure, but I think this crash existed already back when I started Hawken over year ago.

i never had such a crash before ...neither  today .SS zoom or any mech ability or some thing like any kind mech behave crash

Just try it to make sure, since its so easy to replicate. I get like 99% of time crash when pressing zoom button as SS in end screen.

 

EDIT; tho that random crash is different story, hard to replicate and I have no idea besides that it happens randomly when trying to zoom in.

I can confirm this, just happened to me, I got the killing blow on my Reaper.

 

My zoom is mapped to one of my mouse thumb buttons, I clicked it by mistake during the victory screen and it crashed with the same crash log and fatal error.
