Right, kinda new here, so if there's any threads that's already addressing this, or if it's in the wrong side of the forum please feel free to delete/move it, thank you.

 

Now on to the problem: so I entered the code to get the assault mech, and suddenly I got 2 outfitted assault mechs in my garage. Is it possible to delete the other one? I mean, it's not really all that urgent, I just thought it would be nice (less clutter in garage). That should be all, yeah.

There is no way in-game to delete (or resell) mechs in your inventory currently.  You may have clicked "redeem" twice mistakenly or something along those lines to have granted yourself two duplicate Assaults.

If you created a new account today or yesterday you would have already had the mech. So by entering the code you gave yourself a duplicate.

Like the others said, there's no way to delete or sell mechs for the time being. Either hold onto it for now until they do give one of those options or you could rank it up and test different loadouts so you can choose between the two for different situations.

hmmh, the different loadout idea is nice, never thought about that before.

I made this account on february, I think (since I got the CR-T as the starter mech). Though I don't play often due to RL schedule.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is due to the recent change that Reloaded made to give new players the Assault (in lieu of the original CR-T).  Since the Assault is now the free, starter mech, entering a code for it would give you two.

 

That said, it's not a complete waste.  Pick and use one of them for now.  Once you've ranked it all up... you'll have another, fresh one that you can start with later and you will give it far better stats due to your experience.
