I'm just wondering what is meant by the message " this server is locked because it's outside your skill level" cuz I've played against people just starting as well as top ranked players and just want a better understanding.

It doesn't have to mean that the lobby was too high of an MMR to let you in, it could have meant that the MMR was too low. However, don't count out the possibility of higher skilled players, there is always a bigger fish.

I've had my butt handed to me enough to know about bigger fish. I was just trying to get a better understanding of the locked servers , thanks for the reply Kirk707
