I get the same message validated files on steam and get the same message uninstalled game and re-installed and .....same message. hope this is fixed soon as i enjoy playing this game and cannot spend all day playing it on xbox (my partner hates me taking up the big t.v all day)

I'd suggest submitting a DxDiag to the 505 Games support team, and mention the crashing to them.

 

Personally, I've only had one crash to desktop, and that was when the map was transitioning—no message or error code could be seen—literally, a hard crash to desktop. I'll have to blame it on some corrupt game file, since then I've reinstalled to an SSD and no issues thus far.
