for gawdsakes just do it.  i'm sick of the server browser being completely blacked out, and i'm a 1400-1500mmr player.  and 46 people ingame just isn't anything to get wonky with coddling noobs or salty dawgs.

just open up the servers and let us play.

They had matchmaking disabled for private servers.

I would think they could flag one or two servers per region to fall outside matchmaking.

But I don't know what about private servers was broken... so maybe this isn't so easy.

 

they might end up being the servers that end up with the most consistent pilot numbers (above 1-2)

Having a few unrestricted servers wouldn't be unreasonable.

It's nights like last night where the MMR matchmaking really confuses me.  (Yeah, I actually found a game - believe it or not)

 

I don't know how having an MMR spread of 1450-2450 is any indication that there is any sort of restrictions on MMR in place at all.  And, of course, not that I blame or hate him, Nepr is there to determine the outcome of the match before it starts (even using more than just the SS).

 

While I am not one to back away from that kind of challenge, I can really relate to the 10 total people who quit from my team over the course of a 15 minute match.  No matter how many matches we started w/ a full (enough) compliment of players, the match outcome was always a foredrawn conclusion - especially with the party system seemingly functioning.

 

So, it's one thing to say we want unrestricted matches, but it's another thing to live it.  But, without the population to support a matchmaking/team balance system... whaddayado?

those C frame bugger-butt walk animations have been obscene from the get-go.
