BadBenny checking in!   been a while,  and I've been messing around with Neverwinter, found a great clan.  but,  I still love this game, thought I'd pop in,  see what's been going on,  leave some impressions.

 

Loading Hawken up, after a while, I find the gameplay is still great,  and enjoyable as ever!  Enjoy the Highway map.  LOVE the new mechs.

 

Annoyed about not being able to switch weapons.  Lame.   REALLY annoyed about the 3 slot item loadout being reduced to 2, to appease the console crowd.   Hope it was worth it.

 

The garage is still a convoluted mess... miss the old style.  wish I could arrange my mechs in there like the old system.  Got new mechs I didn't buy, and don't want or need... and if I do need them,  I have a ton of credits I can blow.

 

I feel like the console port just messed the game up in ways that I don't see it recovering from.  

 

But,  you know, when  you finally get to the fight,  it's still great mech action.  Glad you still got it, Hawken.  just please fix it.  We're around.  we'll be back.  

 

What irks me the most is,  I know you guys are trying to figure out how to "monetize" the game.   I've blown over $1000 on Neverwinter so far, and did on Hawken in it's prime,  happily.  What can I drop money on here?   what do I want?   How about the ability to organize my garage?  I"ll plop down $50 for that.   How about a "delete" button on mechs given to me I don't want.

How about letting me switch weapons - not even in-game!   I"ll be content to switch between maps.   I'll pay $100 for that.  

How about some real skins,  not the cheesy "lightning" or metallic gold.   Happy to pay for that.   

Guys,  you know what we want.   It's not hard. Give us our PC game back.   I"ll happily drop a bill or 2 for that.  Give me a reason to spend money here!
