Post a little something about your mechs in honor of the game! Because why not. This is a copy of my post from another thread with the appropriate adjustments for a spinoff thread. Because why not?

 

 

 

Something substantial must have been done to this game. Surely something more than just the 'Highways' level has come of the time it has been worked on so far. Am I wrong? Every indication that it was going downhill had been given, but I like how we were kept guessing when it would eventually happen. Now it has. We were told it would be better and its being worked on. Now it's not. This sucks. I'm gonna miss my poor Scout.

I never meant to love my Brawler so much...  I really loved the speed of the Berserker,  preferred the balance of Fred or the Bruiser....  but, it seemed NO ONE brought a heavy into a Siege match.

 

SOOOOO.....    I bring my Brawler with a Hawkins.  an EMP and a Shield,  maybe a MG turret...   and WREAK HAVOCK!!   Towering,  pounding away... DARING them to step up....   What a blast!  

Tricked out, pimped out...  That was my GO-TO  mech!

If it ran a heatcannon, I mained it! My accuracy rating for the heatcannon is a lie though, IIRC it counts splash, not directs. Not sure why I named all my Axes after specialty pizzas tho.

"Disrespect" and "Extra Disrespect" my reaper and sharpshooter. I have never had the aim to really bring out the full potential of these scope in mechs but they're the coolest mechs in game and only wish I got gud nuff to play them more. 

 

"Angriest Mechanic" and my generic tech, all time favorite mech and would consider it my main if the game ever reached competitive play again. 

 

"OptimusRhymes" my long time fuzzy bunny main bruiser. I will always remember my beginning days of hawken and the hellfires... which I only learned you can lock on until much later. 

 

"Mister Fister" my berzerker and long time main and introduction to A mechs. 

 

I'm going to miss all my mechs so much. Each of them have their own customized appearance with payed parts, boosters, and repair bots specifically purchased for each mech. We aren't leaving hawken, hawken is leaving us T^T

"Scout with a Weight Problem" Can you guess which mech this is?

 

"Justice Rains From Above" The HEAT Rocketeer that almost earned me Amid's respect. 

 

"Land Shark", "BattleTurkey", "Edgy Fat Raider" The three top dogs of my G2 Raider Collection. Playing the G2 Raider has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had in gaming, and all you awesome pilots out there sure didn't detract from that. 

 

"Ludicrous Speed" The HEAT and Flak Scout that I could never get very good at. 

 

"The Red Baron" I bought my Reaper back in 2014 and it remains my favorite A-Class to this day.
