Need a range indicator

There should be a range indicator displayed along with the other info when you highlight an enemy. If weapons have an optimal range, then there should be some way of knowing specifically how far away the target is.

Something simple would suffice. a Number along the border of the target indicator upon spotting the enemy would suffice.

I would love to have a range indicator :). Its not gonna be much of a biggie IMO, it can just be a (small_) box with the range right next to the reticule

It might be only on allies i'll have to get in the game to find out but it's displayed in meters.

I agree with this. I've seen bullets bounce off mechs too far out of range. I wondered why at first, then I remembered the effective range. As long as it's not a huge number to clutter the visuals, I'm all in for this.

sharpshooter has range indicator in zoom mode, so there is already code for it.
