Why not set one up with the testers who agree to be part of it and test your system/session agenda and post the recording on the forums.

If you were to have a weekly broadcast and it gathered a following, I believe the official interest would be piqued.

Instead of grabbing all the high end players how about the teams just each nominate a representative member so that we have less voices trying to jump in at once. The different teams can talk internally first about what they want brought to light.

I don't know if anyone else watched the Tribal Council that Hi-Res did with the comp community, but too many voices were trying to be heard at once which I think hurt the talks.

That sounds nice. If the devs are down for doing it, I guess 1-3 devs and 3-5 representatives, probably not more than 6 people on call total_

They aren't productive when the talks are public. I'd rather see closed tests/chats with actual, no hold barred discussions than public aft-kissing.

I don't care how involved developers seem, just about results. A better game will speak for itself.

Well, no devs have responded on this post, so devs are probably a no go at this point. Maybe I'll pm a few and see if they respond that way.

To be fair, the devs are very busy with trying to finish Hawken as much as possible for open beta in seventeen days, so they don't have a lot of free time to browse the forums and reply to every thread. PMs can get attention easier, but I would suggest contacting a mod or one of the community managers and asking them to contact the devs for you, rather than assuming that, say, TJ just has the free time. That way, we're going through proper channels and someone with the authority and time to come in and answer can give some sort of official response.

It could also be that there are legal issues involved in something like this and the lawyers are being jumpy regardless of what the devs want. Or something. I'm hypothesizing, here. Please don't get upset at me, Meteor legal team.
