Nobody told him to remove is av software.... It was a suggestion to replace. You shouldn't have to go through this fuzzy bunny to play a game and kaspersky is well known to cause issues like this constantly.

SORRY, but i have no problem with none of my other games, i have steam with a lot fo them, BF3, Medal of honor, and medal of honor warfighter, and i cpuld continue, and none of them are giving me such alerts, almost all files in binarieswin32 were giving alerts

I have a feeling kaspersky is picking up on some anti-cheat implemented into the game.

yes i have a posted on another thread also thats is regarding the launch of the game and kaspersky giving the same exact warning but in my case kaspersky was not letting me launch for some reason so I just turned it off completly, that was yesterday and today, even with my kasperksy off i can not launch the game again. No idea whats wrong but fiddling around till i can find an answer.

Go into KIS configs and add all .exe from the game's folder.

HawkenGame-Win32-Shipping
C:Program Files (x86)MeteorEntertainmentHawkenInstalledHawkenFilesBinariesWin32

HawkenLauncher
C:Program Files (x86)MeteorEntertainmentHawkenInstalledHawkenFiles

Edit: also ...what version of KIS are you using_

Generally when a av program blocks something unwanted it may delete the file too which could be why it's not working.

Only if he clicked on delete in this case.
THANK YOU!!! Finally someone who know what he's doing. Can finally get back to playing the best game ever.

I think the problem is fixed. I reinstalled Hawken at 12:20AM PST and I was able to launch Hawken without a problem. So I think Kaspersky got the report and fixed this issue.

well, this is NOT a "kaspersky only" phenomenon... several users have reported the same or quite similar problems with other AV products.

sure, lowering the AV´s restrictions and/or setting up less restrictive rulesets may result in a workaround.

BUT: are you all so sure, that it´s really just a false positive_
why has no AV complayned about hawken since the first alpha_
why is there something "new", which results in a raise of AV-detections_
is there something "spyware-like" in the last gameupdate, which makes AV´s go mad now_

i still would ask very much for some official statements of the developers.
who tells us, that one of the last patches hasn´t been "infected" by something nasty (by someone, who is not a developer)_

lots of questions and speculation.
yes.
but is it really worh, risking one quick step too far, before checking the facts_
everybody may have an answer of it´s own for himselves...

Kaspersky have resolved the problem, and they are not going to add a false positive without testing the files first.

This is something that Kaspersky has to fix, not the Hawken devs. Contact Kaspersky.

That said, for now, simply add an exception for Hawken.
Reason as my minor ego, and opposite my desire to be a murderer.
A coagulated, gloomy thinking in the intelligence, as my major ego.
An antinomian theorem of behaviorism, in all of my thinkings.
It's what we call "The Inversion Impulse."
