I'm sadly not on board with this idea. The whole point of making the guns indifferent is it helps make each Class balanced and equal. It is just failing right now because some weapons are out of balance and not enough people have enough skill yet to beat down an A-Class mech. These both will change in the future.

I've never liked "It's big so therefor it must do the most damage and take less" kind of ideas. C-Class does really good damage, no more so than A-Class. If anything right now, B-Class is the bastard step-child of the bunch because bruiser really only uses one of his weapons at a time. If they are close, primary weapon. If they are far.. hellfire missiles. So his dps is reduced compared to others because his primary is so out of whack w/ his secondary that each are not good in each others effective range. Thus dmg output is reduced. Sharpshooter may need a slight dmg boost because they really don't do much right now. But nothing over the top.. they are close to right. But still.. lacking. Assault is fine, as it should be.

I've fought many a person and in the hands of a good player all classes are good.

But if you do this change up and nerf A-Class and buff C-Class... ppl simply will jump to B-Class or C-Class.. no one will want to play A-Class. It's bad enough that A-Class's sole survival is on dodging.. lets make them do less damage as well so the fights last longer so they die much easier even more so. 2 rockets kill an A-Class if they are direct hits.. and if you have any fathom of timing or aiming you can land those. A-Class fights right now last about 5-10 seconds..or how ever long it is to get a second ToW. This will happen end game when ppl pull in better skill and realize how to fight them over all. Not just the current skilled players.

Imagine a rocketeer w/ a 15% bonus to hellfire missiles and he starts 1 shotting A-Class mechs with his nice homing weapon that does the most damage in the game currently.

This will fail....

Doesn't matter, gone off the idea already.  The next one is brewing (much like a vintage f@rt).  :)
