Hi,
just wanted to share a fix I used to pass a problem I had while installing the game. I'm using Windows 7 64bit and when first starting the launcher it didn't download anything. It just had a full progress bar and said "Loaded patcher. Working.". I managed to bypass this by changing my password. I don't know if just changing the password made the difference or the fact that I prior to the change used some what-cha-ma-call-it characters like " !  ¤ % ...

Anyways, try this if you're experiencing the same problem as I have... maybe it'll work!

Password change did not fix problem. however shutting down and restarting computer seems to have fixed the issue.

I have the same thing. I've reset my password 4 times and reinstalled 4 times as well.

Changing the password worked for me.
But I had to change it to a way more insecure PW... this needs to be fixed!!!

nope, nothing. actually seems like the launcher is not able or does not want to connect to internet at all.

I just used the good ole uninstall and reinstall that has been working great since alpha! Has never let me down!

I just restarted the patcher and it started to download.

Guys im using avg anti virus block it or make sure it allows hawken next run on admin then shutdown and restart the computer helped me alot

Also another problem slow my internet so i can barly do naything when its downloading

I killed the HawkenLauncher process in the task manager and then run it again and it helped aswell

Solution that worked for me multiple times:
uninstalled HAWKEN
cleaned PC with CCleaner, multiple times until no errors are left
not sure if there's anything HAWKEN related left on the PC in the program and documents folder, but if you find some, delete it
install HAWKEN again, done

I just simply changed my hawken launcher to run as admin, win7 compatability mode, and gave it full access on the security tab and it worked.
