way I fixed it was to make sure you where runnng it as an administrator (read/write priviledges)

Well i restarted my launcher and then it worked

I got the download going without having to re-install or change password. Simply close the installer, find your Hawken.exe and make sure that instead of double-clicking to launch, you right click and "Run as administrator" this was all I needed to do to kick things into gear! Downloading now and can't wait to jump in with you guys and try things out!

Go to task manager, end HawkenLaucher.exe, then turn launcher on again. Worked for me.
