In other words--> basicly imagine big map of the world/continent with frontline between territories controlled by each of 2 factions, that world map is covered with points like here;
http://www.gmtgames.... ... 100dpi.jpg
Those points can be attacked/defended/captured, those points are actual in game maps where ppl play, point gets captured by faction that will win a match on the map belonging to that certain point. Points are connected so factions can't attack just any point on the world map, only those connected to points under their control.

UNIDENTIFIED WEAPON AT GRID....!!!!!

Clans loyal to a house/banner lord/king/emperor maybe not nations per se - and the best clan will be  house/banner lord/king/emperor and the clans members will be his guard, like praetorians.  They can gain and lose territory not just a static nation maps have a MMORPG map w/o the hard core rpg stuff.  Just have a more less empty map between the real maps. Action + A real world map, it will be the first !!!

Image your being overrun-ed and can only hold out for a few minutes text your friends to get online they come in mid battle guns a blazing and you repulse them - hot hot and new

If your like the only one online then the game can tell and send out AI Mechs/ Ginders in relation to the land you control and the amount of players your facing.  Some basic commands for the bot mechs turtle, expand, balanced attack here defend there - kiss.

if you go this route make sure the up keep is cheep as hell

To keep the servers up have a donate button...lol

I sure hope they don't dumb down the pc version for consoles sake. i.e. button mapping.
