With matchmaking the way it is. I spend more time lobby hopping than in game. With people on my friends list doing the same.

We're back to playing on U.S. servers with horrible ping. It kills the enjoyment for us.

I'd really just like to know if this will continue for the remaining beta 3_

You could... just ... invite your friends to your game...

Hey, I need a server to play on at 4am (my timezone) and the only people who'd be awake at that hour would be Australians.

How could they ever make a statement on this_ They aren't the reason why Australians aren't playing. Do you want them to apologize for their poor judgment of putting servers in your country_

It's not that there are no Australians playing (the Drop Bears are one of the largest clans on here, ater all), it's that there are somewhat fewer playing than there are Americans or Europeans, meaning that the absolutely horrid matchmaking has less of a chance of actually putting any of us together.

EDIT: Further proof there are Australians playing from this article in Forbes:

What have you learned about which markets are into HAWKEN thus far_

We’re localizing the game and Websites for 28 languages at launch. The only real marketing we’ve done for HAWKEN is in North America and some in Europe. What’s interesting is that Russia and Australia are two of our top territories and Poland, Turkey and Brazil are in the Top 20.

Australian_ Like Hawken_ Then join the Drop Bears! Or actually maybe don't, since it's kind of dead.

This what we do however most of the players on my friends list don't show up as online even when I confirm it with them over teamspeak or find them in US servers. It's a ghost town at the moment.

I feel like when the game opens up on twelvetwelvetwelve a lot of these issues will subside.

Yeah that's the consensus but there is an unbelievable amount of frustration in the Aus community at the moment.

No fuzzy bunny. It's way more broke south of the equator than north of it though.

Yeah they kind of are. We're playing on US servers because we aren't being put into games on ours.

We all understand it's a beta and we're happy waiting it out. I'd just like to know if we should be waiting it out or persevering.

We do populate servers with just clan members but that gets kinda stale after a while and you really want to play against people with new/different tactics.

Something says me that Aussies will appreciate much having their own during OB1. :)

This isn't the point. We appreciate them now however in the space of a few days we went from having games full in every mode  to it being a ghost town. Even within the clan the engagement and involvement has taken a hit.
