Initiate Self-Destruct

The reason for having the option to self-destruct only ONCE per game is to prevent this from being abused and exploited. Just to add a little more fun in the match cause u never know who is going to self-destruct.
I was wondering what if all the teams or a few say 2 / 3 mechs intiated the self-destruct …major explosion and damage radius that could probably take out a few enemy mechs caught in the blast.
But the question arises is it going to be a countdown timer say 10 secs to self-destruct or instant explosion …
Comments please

Or at least name some parts "Murphy" or something. (They may already have, for all I know. I haven't exactly looked. )

However, the c-class death explosion is pretty awesome, and I wouldn't be opposed to that having a knockback radius and maybe a wee bit o' damage.
