You can upgrade how visible you are to sensors (stealthiness) or increase your radar range with upgrades. If you disable radar you negate these upgrades, and disenfranchise the players who use them. Either replace the upgrades with something else or don't allow radar to be disabled.
I vote you keep radar, because it's range is so short and the radar upgrades let you be stealthy if you want to be.

I would not mind having the option to turn off the radar. It would promote camping however snipers would now have a chance to stay hidden for longer as well. Another thing the vast maps that I have seen on the trailers might detour camping slightly but then again even with radar there is camping. But I look forward to see what the final outcome of this poll will be.
