At 4:00 PM PST (GMT -8) HAWKEN servers will be going offline for 30 minutes (or less!) to refresh and make some tweaks to the services.

During this time you won't be able to access the game or the forums here at PlayHAWKEN.com

We also post it in the launcher, but I agree with your point. We're working on additional ways to give everyone proper heads up!

Regardless, the forums actually stayed up. There was a chance they wouldn't so we wanted everyone to be prepared for the worst thing ever that could happen ever in the history of the world this week.
