There's no need for me to address those generic titles.

Let us focus on truly great games or games that made a break through.

Shadows of the Colossus.

10/10. That's how a good game is made.

I could see Bad Company 2 being called generic, but the others all had something different and  interesting to them. (Bioshock had its atmosphere, Vanquish had its fluid movement and difficulty, and Mechwarrior has its almost sim-like gameplay.)

Overgrowth.

For technical reasons. Yes the models are creepy to the max, but it is one hell of a well made game.

No, no and no.

Lets continue with the great games. Varaka, you know more than this. Stick to the true great awesome games. Leave aside the filler and generics outside this list. Please.

Infinity Quest for Earth.

Click on Infinity for the game information.

I hope one day see that game released.

Yes, it's an amazing idea. Belongs to the list.

Let me bitch a bit about it. The models, worlds and animation are amazing and so the melee system. But fuck the model of that pseudo biped bunny sucks ass...

Anyway the game is amazing.

More of my favourites:

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai and The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile (XBLA):

These are my favourite Xbox Live Arcade games for their odd story, very good gameplay, and great length to price ratio.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC):

Day Z (PC, alpha version):

Amnesia and Days Z are amazing experiences no doubt about that.

Quite strange that no one mentioned Trials,  Trials 2, Trials evolution. It's excite bite done the classic way with amazing game play platform precision skills.

I can't consider them on my list but they deserve a mention.

Nice try... but before you end up diverting our attention..
Have you fraking played the SupCom2 game anytime or are you just extracting wrong conclusions out of any Wiki_

P.S. Still you got 1270 search matches on Supcom2 at YouTube... or perhaps you need more_
Something tells me that you've touched a nerve here. Don't you_ :P

Star Craft II, end of discussion.

Cool. If you do have a 360 I really recommend you try The Dishwasher. The first game isn't nearly as polished as the second one though. (First game had one developer, second game had three and an actual budget)

They are very fun and you get a lot for their prices.

K. Given that you own an XB ( LOL.. having in mind aaaaall that shite you have been posting on the forums d uring all these many months... ) I'll tell you what are a couple good games, the best ones IMHO, for that XB of yours.

Fight Night and UFC 3. Find these for the PC if you want, compare and then you tell me.

No, I was asking ;)...: P

Besides, I call you whatever I want. So learn to know your place in the Darwin's food chain, bichie.......: 3.

I despise how the market endorse the consoles but that doesn't mean my exclusion of great games on them. However they are very few.

Lets continue with those awesome games.

Wipe out Fury.

(an absurd player)

Little Bit Planet II.

I was about to post a picture of your place in the food chain..  but it would be so explicit and unpleasant... :P

Anyways the topic of this thread speaks by itself. This is not about the best games of the modern and/or older industry. This is just about the games you like and/or consider the best ones. You've said nay to one of the most awesome games ever: SupCom2; even without having a fraking clue on it. Don't want to hammer you more, duddie. :D

Due that you do not listen to others who know what they talking about, I'm positively leaving this thread.

Cordially; always. :)

Don't make me teach you that lesson.

These are games that are proven to be the best or show distinct qualities in many areas. No single game on my list is mediocre. No single game given on my mentions are considered a waste of time. They are the best of the best. Many received lots of prices. This thread is an attempt to teach you tastes in a friendly way. But you don't want to listen. It's up to you if you want to learn something about what true quality is.

It's up to you.

Wait, do you know what you are talking about_ Really_

If someone has the authority to teach you about what good games are, that's me. So, shut up...: P

Or bring a true awesome list....

World in Conflict.
