This mech is the result of 3 weeks' blood, sweat and tears. It is made by the Hungarian community. We exhibited it at a Hungarian gaming event called PlayIT. We built in a computer and a monitor. It looped tutorials, Nvidia tech demos, the live action teaser and gameplay videos from Black Steel Brotherhood. It was the main attraction of the show, right next to the enterance.

More "how it is made" and event photos coming soon.

It would have been genious if you made the CR-T be an actual CR-T monitor with TV functions. :P

Get your hard on.

The first plan was this. We even got an old TV for it (we gave it to the Hackerspace so they can turn it to an aquarium). The mech even could endure the weight of it but the shape of the screen made it harder to work with. This monitor is actually a TV too. It has coax, scart, RCA, audio jack and VGA plugs. This way we could use a computer instead of a DVD player.

We had tons of other cool ideas (such as bullet holes and many more), but sadly we haven't got enough time (we barely made it).
I finished the final painting the last hour before we moved it to the place of event (and ofc it was raining at that time, so I had to rush in the building from the car, not to ruin the freshly painted parts :D).

There was a piece of paper on it with a "Do not touch" caption. People usually "see things with their hands". A guy dressed up as Deadpool tried to steal the TOW launcher.

The primer paint was already done but Sutislany could do the details (dirt and rust) in the last hours with acrylic paint (it dries relatively quickly). It is almost entirely made out of Medium-Density Fibreboard. The joints are moveable and there is a cement block in the leg for weight. :)

Seriously nice work, guys :D

Seeing the build photos were good but it's even better to see it in place! Glad you got it done even with the tight schedule.
