in my opinion i think certin game modes should give more HC longer matches should earn u more i play siege and my average match is 20-45 minutes and i only earn maybe 300 HC and im not a bad player shorter matches or modes like Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch u might not be the strongest player on a team but you should still be able to make some good HC especially when your a low lvl mech trying to earn your your way up   MA is another mode that can last long and should give more HC for capturing silos holding silos and more

absolutely I disagree cuz that way you'll get to unlock all of the mechs and their weapons so fast wand think you mastered the game while you're still developing your skills ; the game will lose it's taste ! you have to be patient ^_^

Nah, its OK. IMO, the point of the economy is that by the time you've finished ranking one mech, you can buy another

I can't really vote because I've never run out of hc. This is due to me taking advantage of the 5000 starting amount that you no longer get, numerous promo codes that have since expired, the service awards and ingame earnings.

I have no idea what it is like for a new player just starting out with only the service awards and ingame earnings. I've still got over 40k left unused and I've got all the mechs besides the vanguard and assault (this doesn't make me a good player just a hoarder).

I agree with Ded. I want to say it's easy, but I've used so many promo codes that my perspective is really skewed. I don't have a ton of HC in the bank anymore, only enough for maybe an internal.

I asked a similar question a little while back, because I seem to have a constant level of HC.  Once I've outfitted a mech and leveled it up to 25, I seem to back to the starting point.  Of course, I don't use defensive/utility internals on most of my mechs, since the benefits often don't fit my playstyle.  Offensive, though... I always use those.

My HC balance has started to creep upwards recently, and I'm about to buy my last two mechs.  After that, I'm unsure what I'll end up using my HC on.  Holotaunts aren't amazing, and countermeasures kinda feel like cheating...

Get the Repair defensive internal. Start repairing a bit more slowly but at a much faster rate. It's universally useful.

I must say with the challenges / achievements HC gathering is more fun and easyer. :)

Broken poll is broken (one shouldn't be able to pick more than one choice).

That being said, no, I don't think it's too hard, especially with the new achievement system giving small amounts.  When I was first leveling my mechs at the start of OB, at about the time I had maxed out the mech I was working on, I had enough to get another mech.

(I don't mean to necro threads, I'm just almost always running behind.  My apologies)

It wouldn't hurt for it to be a little faster, but it's satisfactory.

My playing mentality is casual and I don't think it takes long to buy a new mech and new bodywork for CRT to throw that ratty old television head away

You're aware that on average, most people only earn about 90-110 HC per TDM, and that's with above average scores. ( 14-2-9 for instance. Obviously K/D/A ) TDMs go for 15 minutes, so doing the incredibly difficult math:

15 minutes x 3 matches = 45 minutes.

Then we do the average HC earned per above average TDM score.

100 x 3 = 300 HC.

300 HC for 3 TDM = 1 Siege of 300 HC; which from your variable can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 45.

Everything seems to be at peace. Nothing to fix.
