Albeit those were some pretty disorganized opponents

This. Try that against an organized team with a Tech and see the results.

Yeahh...My entire guide was based toward 1v1. Did you not see the part saying "avoid 1v2+ situations"_ And what is this "team" you speak of_ My video was Deathmatch, it's all I play.

Yeah like I said try that on a team deathmatch server or on  a missile assault
with an organized oppozing team and see the results. In my experience the
Grenadier (and all C classes) is a very situational machine.

As much as I love my Grenadier, I have to agree it's situational.  There are times when I'm playing it and I realize I'd much rather be using my Bruiser or my Raider because my Grenadier is just not cutting it in that match's particular teamwork (yea or nay, for both teams_) or how the match is evolving (into a longer range slugfest, CQC frenzy, etc.)  I'll most certainly try it, but if the game is going a way where using my Grenadier would be harmful to the win, I'll obviously switch.

In MA and Siege, the more organized higher MMR matches, my Grenadier shines with good teamwork, but in TDM and DM, I don't as well because, well, teamwork is spotty there.

LOL, I'm oblivious, I thought you were on TDM instead of DM!

Anyway per vonbach & Silverfire, the grenadier's role quickly changes from an offensive one to a front-line enforcer and area-denial mix when faced with an organized enemy.

On TDM, I love slinging those grenades into Technician nests and watch them scrambling about trying to stick to their teammates...I go for those medics and DRINK THEIR MILKSHAKES!

@ Yaie - nice video! I think my biggest problem is I get over eager with the Rev-GL. Sometime I'll just hammer out shots for the sake of it, well, because EXPLOSIONS

! I'll try to be a little more conservative tonight and stick to the burst style.

You do realize that the Grenadier is better in location- and team-centric game modes due to its ridiculous area denial right_
One example would be the bridge on Origin. If you have a team camping S2 with a scout or infil back-capping, you can just set yourself up, wait for enemies to pop up on the other end of the bridge, and bombard the fuzzy bunny out of them without risking any damage yourself. On maps like Bazaar you can lob nades not only at the other points from the area around S2, but you can quite often bank them off of terrain and hit players repairing behind cover

Yupyupyup - He's always better with a team! Grenadier can pin down whole groups this way.

In my experience the result is (if own team is any good) Tech getting a facefull of 'nades and enemy cluster boosting to random directions. Paired with a good SS, Gren gets a ton of assists and SS gets a ton of one-shot kills.

BTW, did you check the topic before you started trolling_ I fail to see how you contribute ANYTHING to a Grenadier Guide... If you wanna just spew hate towards the C-class, there are appropriate threads for that. Maybe this would be to your liking_:

I've always found the Grenadier very interesting to play, but I've never been able to get decently skilled with it mainly due to heat issues. I'll be sure to try out some of your tips and see how far that gets me. And Yaie, I'll have to look for you in-game to watch you play some more - it's been awhile since I've seen you play as your Grenadier, and I think watching you use it effectively might help me out some.
