When PGI added 3PV to MechWarrior online...the fuzzy bunny hit the fan for the same reason AJK pointed out on the 1st page.

It wouldn't hurt if it was an option. Plus third person views give the player a more realistic spacial awareness. Maybe this way people wouldn't always be rubbing all over walls and stuff.

When piloting my 'human' I occasionally bump into walls. Clumsy meat creature....Just say no to third person perspective, that's a different game genre. If it were optional, well, the competitive players already know their choice... I almost always support more options over less, but this is one I feel strongly about. No to TPV

Big, BIG NO. Even if it was an option, everybody would use that because it grants larger view range. Besides, on every HAWKEN ad u see it is 'Mech combat FPS'. If u want to have a TPS here, go for MWO.
