Fun fact: I actually got this game for free during a trip to Best Buy many years ago. My parents had bought some stuff, and the checkout clerk asked us which game I would like. My parents and I looked at one another, unsure what she was referring to. The clerk pulled out two boxes (back when PC games came in huge boxes ) from behind the counter. Apparently they were having some sort of special where if you bought enough stuff, you got to choose a PC game from a selection of two. I hadn't heard of either game before (I think the other was a racing game). She asked if I liked strategy games. I said yes, and she handed me C&C. She said "You'll love this one. It's really good". She was right. I played that game for hours, and have been hooked on the C&C series ever since.

What really got me hooked on PC though...
Right now I'm not particularly looking forward to any upcoming titles (there are a few that spark my interest but I won't feed that money-making AAA-game-producers with their DLCs any longer)

I am slightly younger (ok, maybe a lot younger) than most people on here. This is my first real Online game, and I've loving every minute of it.

I have seen it estimated...somewhere between death and birth.
That there are now 3 thousand million people living on this earth.
And the stockpiled mass destruction of the nuclear powers that be.
Equals for each man or woman 20 tons of TNT.

Too bad EA ruined the franchise, and RA3 is a bunch of bs.
First real multiplayer game i'd have to say Runescape back in 2005

It was scary. And the multiplayer was awesome. I still play it occasionally now that with Aleph One it has mouse support and other improvements.
After that it was Myth and Myth II - still some of the most fun gaming online I've ever had. Sending out your little exploding dwarves... The glory days of Bungie before they sold out to Microsoft.
