Getting double-vision with Oculus, how to adjust IPD for hawken_

Hi guys, title pretty much says it all.

I followed the directions to setup rift with Hawken, but it seems my IPD is WAY off. I get a wierd cross-eyed effect if i I try look through the screen. Everything is clear if I close one eye or the other, so its definitely getting at least some of the distortion correct.

I've run the Oculus Rift setup wizard for IPD and the current setup works great for all other games. Is the only way to fix this to save a new profile in the Oculus Rift setup wizard just for hawken_ Or is there a way to adjust the IPD in Hawken itself_

@Hendman thanks, I should've linked that in my original post, as those are the directions I was referring to. So, unfortunately, that doesn't help.

Ghost i am gonna leave my DefauleEngine.ini settings below. Make sure that you have everything reset when doing this because you may have probably messed something up somewhere else.  What i did was make a clean install and then made changes to ini and it works and looks perfect.

So after clean pure intsall where everything is untouched. Open up your DefaultEngine.ini and delete everything in it and replace it with my stuff. Then play a game and it should work. Scroll button will reset your view if your camera angle is wrong in cockpit.

just tried this config, and the game crashed on start

EDIT: my installation is now buggered, have to re-download. I give up. Didn't start from a completely new install though but I'm not willing to risk having to re-download the game two times just to see if this works.

Try validating your install. Open the launcher and click the little cog symbol topright.

Maybe you also need to set all ingame settings to defaults. To do that go to the C:.........My documentsMy games directory, and in there rename the hawken folder to hawkenbackup. Then start the game as usual.

EDIT: my installation is now buggered, have to re-download. I give up. Didn't start from a completely new install though but I'm not willing to risk having to re-download the game two times just to see if this works.

Just think a little bit about what you did, and why it didn't work.

You took a configuration from months ago, and placed it in a newer version of the game...  Of course it wasn't going to work.

Reset your default config files, (and hope that you only edited the ones in my documents or else you are going to have to reinstall anyway), set your oculus to the correct monitor, and start the game, it will work fine.
